We at Twisty Tails Rattery put health and temperament above all else when it comes to our ratties.. We take education in rat care as well as general knowledge about rats as pets very seriously and envision a rat community in which rat owners and breeders are responsible and care devotedly for their pet rats. We believe that only education can help to remove the stigma against rats; the belief that rats are dirty and vicious plague-spreading monsters. We aim to breed rats with excellent temperaments and health; and we are actively involved in working together with other responsible and ethical breeders to strengthen rare and important South African lines.
